Volunteering

Maintaining an organic garden, an animal sanctuary, and an educational centre while also trying to participate in humanitarian projects can present a lot of work. We are looking for generous individuals who might not be interested in learning but are willing to give us a helping hand in the garden, around the house and with the animals.

As a volunteer, you have the chance to discover the secrets of organic gardening, permaculture, companion planting, and electroculture. You will gain experience in caring for rescued animals: cats, dogs, chickens, and exotic birds. You will help us around the house and support a good cause, while helping us to spread positive knowledge in the world.

It is an advantage to have some experience with gardening. You will be happy here if you love nature, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty or to do physical work, you like animals, and you are open to something different. You will live with us an organic lifestyle, close to the nature.

Sometimes we look for volunteers for very specific projects, check our Facebook page for up-to-date information.

We accept volunteers for a minimum of 10 days and until everyone is satisfied or we still need your help.
As we function mainly as educational centre, volunteering is not our main focus, so we have some activities that the volunteers will not take part in.

The volunteers receive full board. The volunteers accommodation is on a dedicated floor of our house with own bathroom and kitchen. In this way volunteers are autonomous during the activities of the school in which they don't take part. We ask the volunteers not to interfere with lessons or special activities dedicated to the students. Twice a week we'll have a socialising dinner, where we'll spend time all together, volunteers and students, with board games, music and conversation.
The other suppers include lessons for the students so the volunteers are provided with food that they can eat in their accommodation.

The volunteers cover their stay with 25 hours a week of volunteer work and agree to respect the rules of the house (see the rules and values section) . As volunteer, in your free time you can do whatever you like, hike in the surrounding green forests, visit the nearby city of Poznan, or just relax in our big garden.

Committed volunteers are rewarded with a small salary. After 3 months (120 days) that you stay with us, we reward you with a pay of 600 euros. After that, every month you will receive a small salary of 200 euros, besides, of course, free accommodation and food as per volunteering agreement.

Our association relies on the support of international volunteers like you, who play a crucial role in the successful implementation of our initiatives.
If you are ready to support a good cause, get in contact with us.

*Important: we accept volunteers in the periods when their help is needed. For information about availability send us an email.

**If you get interested in the learning centre, you can become a student if you pass the entry application successfully. For more information check the student application section.
